Laphroaig Malt Scotch Whisky Lore 48% Vol 70Cl
£75.99Laphroaig Lore is a 2016 addition to the distillery’s range. Made up of whiskies aged in a combination of quarter casks, sherry casks and reused peated casks. This is rich and classically peaty with a spicy chili bite and a long, sweet aftertaste.
Laphroaig Malt Scotch Whisky Quarter Cask 48% Vol 70cl
£52.99Released in 2004, this bottling was aged for around five years before being finished in a quarter cask for several months, the size of the cask is quite small, thus does not require such a long maturation. This remains a truly great achievement from Laphroaig.
Laphroaig Malt Scotch Whisky Select 40% Vol 70Cl
£40.99Laphroaig Select is aged in a combination of Oloroso sherry butts, American white oak (we suspect some of this is virgin oak), hogsheads seasoned with Pedro Ximenez, quarter casks and first fill bourbon casks. This results in a restrained and toned down version of this Islay classic.

£490.00Bottled in 2019, this Laphroaig single malt has been matured in a combination of ex-bourbon barrels and oloroso sherry casks for a quarter of a century, before being bottled at cask strength. Waves of rich peat smoke mingle with warm spices, dried fruits and oak spice throughout the palate.
Port Charlotte 10Yo 50% 70cl Heavily Peated
£60.00Port Charlotte’s 10-year-old, rich and smoky whisky made by the independently minded folks at Bruichladdich distillery on Islay. It is big and peaty with a maritime tang – the Bruichladdich team would claim that it’s because their warehouses are so close to the sea, we’re still undecided. In the end, the most important thing is the taste: it’s rather good.
