akushu is the second Single Malt distillery from Japan’s first and most awarded Japanese Whisky producer Suntory. Inspired by Japan’s natural forests, Suntory created 200 acres of nature sanctuary in which to produce Hakushu Single Malt. A single sip transports you to the harmonious forests of Japan.
Produced in the mountains northwest of Tokyo, Hakushu Single Malt is a vibrant, grassy whisky with a gentle whisper of smoky peat. All of Suntory’s whiskies are 100% Japanese authentic in their production inspired by Scottish Malts with unique Japanese perfectionism.
This whisky is best served neat or on the rocks as it would be enjoyed in Japan. For the innovators, try with a large sphere of crystal clear ice and experience the true Japanese way. Otherwise, mix long with ice and soda, garnished with mint in a Forest Highball.
