This extraordinary and distinguished hand-crafted single malt is Tobermory Distillery’s signature smoky expression.
In 2018, the Isle of Jura whisky range got a rather snazzy relaunch, which included this tasty 12 year old single malt. Distilled on the eponymous Inner Hebridean island, this expression was initially matured in American white oak ex-Bourbon barrels, before being moved over to Oloroso sherry casks for a finishing period. A great example of Jura’s delicious malts.
From Scotlands most Northerly distillery on the Orkney Isles, Highland Park is uniquely smooth, balanced with a gentle smokey finish.
Made with heavily peated barley before being matured in Ex-Bourbon Casks, and finished in hand-selected Spanish Rioja Casks, this single malt contains powerful flavours of smoke, spice, grape and sweet berries, with a lingering saltiness.
This limited edition Ledaig is a collaboration between Tobermory distillery and Mull born wildlife cameraman Gordon Buchanan, in aid of the Mull & Iona Community Trust. Three types of cask (Bourbon, Port and Wine) were used in the production of the Triple Wood, which is presented at 53.8%. Global release of 7000 bottles
