The range explores the terroir of barley, and how it can impact the flavour of a whisky, which is a big undertaking, and it has produced some fascinating expressions.

Waterford proudly utilises 100% demonstrably Irish-grown barley from one farm, one terroir for each release. Hook Head 1.1 is the first edition made using barley grown at the 'Hook Head Farm'. The farm is subject to the full extent of salt-laden sea spray & ocean breezes, creating a extremely maritime terroir. Bottled at 50% ABV without colouring, chill-filtration.
