We are very happy to present the first Decadent Drinks bottling of Aberlour. This bottling is a vatting of two fantastic casks, one from 1991 and one from 1989. It is presented at full cask strength.
Official Tasting Notes
Nose – layers of soft, honeyed waxes, pollens, beeswax, furniture oils, background green fruits and baked apples. Add to that some lanolin, white pepper and fruit salad juices. A really expressive and hugely enjoyable style.
Palate – great, textural arrival, with a lot of flower nectar, beeswax and flower honey impressions. Also olive oil, juniper, cedar wood and dried exotic fruits. Superb maturity and still wonderfully lively and vibrant.
Finish – long, elegantly fruity, with heather honeys, sweet dark ales, dried herbs and aged fruit liqueurs
A small batch release composed of hand-selected casks by Stewart Bowman, Arran’s Distillery Manager. The spirit was matured in ex-Port Pipes for its full 13 years. 1286 bottles were vatted from the casks

Nose – Beautifully balanced light floral notes from lotus and geranium flowers dance between hints of fresh meadow grass and peeled apple skin.
Palate – An energizing zing from tangy lemon rind and grapefruit meet the delicate subtle sweetness of glazed fruits an spice from root ginger.

A 15 year old Bruichladdich, drawn from a privately owned single cask. The unpeated Islay spirit was filled into a bourbon cask in 2006, and has been bottled at an undiluted strength of 58.2%.
Despite the minimalist label design, this bottling impressed the members of our purchasing team, who called it a ‘classic example of modern era Bruichladdich
One of two limited releases from Bunnahabhain for the 2024 Fèis Ìle. First distilled in 1999, the spirit has undergone a series of sherry cask finishes; in November 2009 Amontillado casks, in June 2011 Oloroso casks, and finally in September 2019 in Manzanilla casks. The whisky was bottled at 23 years old, and is one of 4002 bottles at 53.3%.

Colour – Mahogany
Nose – Freshly baked almond pastries are met with sweet berries, creamy fudge, rose petals and a hint of desiccated coconut
Palate – Fresh vanilla pods, butterscotch and creamy strawberries are balanced with honeyed cashews, wood spice and a gentle hint of tobacco
Finish – Dry finish with pine needles and blackcurrants
One of two limited release Bunnahabhains for the 2024 Fèis Ìle. This spirit began maturation on the 26th of May 2009 in Bourbon Casks. It was then transferred on the 17th of November 2020 into Ruby Port Hogsheads for a lengthy finishing period. It is presented at a natural ABV of 58.7%.

Colour – Copper
Nose – Initial burst of dark chocolate which fades to reveal toasted oak, cherries, plums and raspberries, with a hint of carmelised walnuts
Palate – Spicy but sweet, with cinnamon and nutmeg intertwined with pain au chocolat, redcurrants, pomegranate and sweet malt.
Finish – Lingering finish with cocoa and spice
A combination of 5 specially selected 2010 vintage ex bourbon casks from the famous farm to bottle distillery Daftmill. Daftmill Farm and Distillery is located just outside Cupar in a beautiful part of Fife.
The Cuthbert family grow all the barley used to make their whisky, and sometimes produce as little as 100 casks in a year. These 5 casks were chosen for The Daftmill Distillery Unofficial Fans Facebook group, bottled at a cask strength of 59.5%.
The second of a three-part series from Dalmore distillery, this expression was made in collaboration with Zaha Hadid Architects. The spirit was matured over 16 years in a selection of American white oak ex-Bourbon casks, and then finished in Graham’s Tawny Port Pipes and Apostoles sherry casks. Unusually for Dalmore, it contains a very small amount of peated spirit.

Nose – Manuka honey, crème brulee, antique leather, delicate tropical notes of pomegranate, guava, and cherry blossom
Palate – Ripe figs, Seville oranges, forest fruits, passion fruit, lightly roasted Colombian coffee, fermented black limes, and brioche
Finish – Fresh roasted chestnuts, sweet wood spices, dark cacao, and Alphonso mangoes with a delicate whisper of herbal wood smoke
A limited 2005 vintage single malt from The Dalmore. Spirit was initially matured in American oak ex-bourbon casks and was then transferred into two different types of casks; Matusalem Sherry, and casks that previously held a 2005 Vintage Sherry.
Each year, the makers at The Dalmore meticulously evaluate their cask holdings and hand select only a small batch from each year. These are the casks that make up the Vintage Collection.

Nose – Dark chocolate, salted caramel, antique leather and rich orange citrus.
Palate – Rich cacao, blood orange, dark fruits, marzipan and moist ginger cake.
Finish – Madagascan vanilla, Seville orange, rich nuttiness and long dry chocolate complexities
